Dobong-gu council consists of 14 members, among whom the presiding group and chairpersons of standing committees are elected by mutual election. The term of office is 4 years.

Presiding Group

  • Among the registered member, one chairperson and one vice chairperson shall be elected by mutual election and secret voting.
  • The chairperson takes the office for 2 years, represents the council, keeps order and supervises the bureau.
  • The vice chairperson acts as the chairperson in his/her absence.
