The Dobong-gu Council is the residents’ representative body, listening to the region’s diverse
voices from the place closest to residents’ lives and faithfully reflecting them
in policies and budgets. Launched on the trust and expectations of our residents,
the 10th Dobong-gu Council will do its utmost for regional development and
residents’ happiness through ever more responsible legislative activities.

The 10th Dobong-gu Council will further raise the council’s expertise and capabilities
in step with the changing environment of local autonomy, and move forward
as a council trusted by residents. We will also work with the executive branch on a foundation of mutual respect and communication, thinking together on policies that help residents’ lives,
weighing diverse opinions in balance, and crafting better alternatives.

In addition, as chairperson, I will be a steadfast support so that every council member
can look closely after the voices of the field and carry out practical legislative work
that resolves everyday inconveniences. We will build on a council culture of harmony and communication and work so that residents’ will is faithfully reflected across all our legislative activities.
